Healthcare ~ 2018

At the time when the Indian Govt. has finally realized the importance of healthcare, let us go over the necessity of the hour to unleash the vitality of healthcare services in the country. The nation with over 1.5 billion people, it is true to provide quality medical services to the people, but did we ever take any steps to provide even the basic infrastructure for the common man? Millions of death in the nation has occurred due to ignorance. Common man has been deprived of free basic medical facilities. With over 15-20% of the population still below the poverty line, providing the basic infrastructure is the biggest challenge of the Govt. and this Govt. has ensured the necessity of it and has come up with a wonderful plan to cover over 0.5 billion people providing them with basic amenities.

The current budget has a lot to go with the massive allocation of funds in this sector. For sure this sector is going to grow rapidly in the next 5 years. Lot of investment in the healthcare policies and the lineup of both public and private service providers to offer services loom over. We had always fallen short of Hospitals, Doctors and Labs in this nation. A lot of money would be set up to provide the basic infrastructure. A clean and healthy India would be the mantra of the political parties at least before the general elections.  Better health – Less Intake of medicines would be the trend. Of course, the need of medicines at low cost is indeed a big ask – but it not completely impossible. The Govt. must ensure less cost for basic and lifesaving medicines. Cost of healthcare, medical services and medicines is required at this point. If the Govt. tries to make medicines in India thereby importing less from foreign nations, it can lower the cost to a great extent.

The big factor right now is to look for alternative medicines or alternative treatments. English medicines should be the last choice. Something like the Chinese model – We must as well follow the Acupuncture type of treatment – since it directly links the points in the body towards better functioning. We must focus on alternative treatments to reduce cost and cure diseases naturally without side effects. Yoga, Massage, breathing exercises must be marketed well. The youths must be educated about these alternative treatments in order to ensure a healthy nation. Following these simple techniques can bring in a lot of change to the future generation. Daily exercises must be made a practice in schools and colleges. Acupuncture, Yoga and Breathing exercises must be made a regular subject. Small awareness camps must be conducted monthly in every towns and villages to examine people and create awareness.

This is the sector that is set to grow at a rocket speed. All the parties are geared towards this initiative these days, in order to prove that they really care for the people. Apart from this, this is also set to create millions of jobs in the country. A healthy India is what we need and this is just a starting initiative from the Govt. This healthy start will provide adequate facilitates to the poor and get them basic medical services. Hopefully we will all move towards natural cure rather than the current English medicine cure. By putting efforts daily from our end, to a great extent – we can prevent diseases and in case if disease occurs, the lowest intake of medicines is ensured. Let us make India a clean and healthy nation.
