No to Racism

The long tiring seasons of domination
With no freedom to express our thoughts
Our endless fears on relentless starvation
Deep down inside struck with blood clots

The never-ending saga of Oppression
Our family and kids dealt with humiliation
When earning bread and butter became tedious
The entire world that slaved us turned joyous

For long we battled for equal rights
Pleaded for acknowledgment and respect
The feel of free air left far away from our sights
Betrayed even by the Gods who ignored to protect

Our stories and history written in blood
With our men and women beaten for fun
In our struggles alone we stood
With our heads down, fearing for the gun

Together we were in our mission
Slowly the winds of rebel gained support
Few good hearts understood our vision
And bailed us from the ocean of dirt

We work hard in driving the economy
But still few see us as an enemy
Before we think we have succeeded, we have miles to go
To let the bonkers realize we can glow

Our colours would never let us down
The pace with which we move forward wouldn’t stop
Our talents and skills would get us the crown
We will scale new heights and wouldn’t flop

One day, we will be called Heroes and Legends
Our names will be sung on every road-end
We will be the masters of the game
And will be listed in the Hall of Fame
