It was 2006 Diwali. Exactly a year after I moved to Mudichur (near Tambaram) and heavy rains slashed Chennai leaving thousands of families in distress with severe floods. The time has come for us to move towards digitalization with the new technologies in place and its efficiency has increased over the years. The Indian Gov has been taking enormous step, like never before, to ensure a digital world to be embraced by the mammoth population the country holds. Linking of Aadhar to mobile connections, PAN and bank account have been a huge step towards maintaining integrity. While these steps by the Govt has to be appreciated, still the prospect of imposing them on the people and asking them to adhere to it in a short span of time, is relentful.
