For few Cinema is a science – for instance Christopher Nolan. He brings then concept of science into his films. The screenplay, movie’s core is built on top of science. And why not? We have tried to ascertain every event that happens in our life to science.  Even the music that Nolan feeds in his movies bear science. And I am a great fan of Nolan and his movies. But then there are few directors like Alejandro Gonzalaez Inarittu, Ingmar Bergman, Federico Fellini, Vittorio De Sica who treat Cinema as an art. They have all given importance to characters in the movie and their feelings. They all have expressed human emotions at their best. And here we have one who shows life at its simple and best. Characters defined with utmost simplicity – Majid Majidi. Majidi isn’t a man who complicates cinema. He flows like a thin air, like a pleasant wind. Why So Serious, Huh ?

Of course the outside world is challenging. It is evolving every minute and we have to adapt to it at the right time. We have to be making continuous progress. We are often held up and occupied with tasks. We don’t have time for others. The fear of getting left behind has groped us. Whole day we reflect the issues we face or about to face at work. We are completely immersed into an ocean of problems before even they reach us. We forget our identity and play someone else. We portray an altogether new human which is nowhere close to ourselves. In that process we forget our true selves and don’t live life to the fullest. The very reason for this is the world and the platform which has gone increasingly challenging. People with similar or more knowledge and skills are out there – out to demolish us and we are caught in a vicious circle of survival.
