Until the last decade, in India, Women were considered to be the weaker section and they have been constantly dominated by Men. They were oppressed on all grounds. Men were supposed to drive the family and the country while women were supposed to serve Men. The Mentality of the Men were towards suppressing the needs and benefits of the Women. Several Leaders fought for the empowerment of Women and after dozens of centuries, finally people begun to believe in its necessity after getting to know how Women were treated in other countries.
