The Wind will carry us

Few believe that we are responsible for every events and actions. We bear the sole responsibility of our success/failure. It is because we drive the actions towards our goal. No one else is held accountable for our loss. Everything is being executed by our plans and the way we travel. Our life is in our hands. Everything happens for a reason and so on. Few others believe that destiny is the one that is responsible for carrying us in a specific direction. Everything is being written by God and he has a perfect screenplay already written for each of us and we are mere dolls who move towards the destination that he has set. Everything – every event that occurs is pre-planned. We are mere actors who execute the written things. One flavor is science while the other is attributed to religion. However, we can’t deny both.

With these facts in mind, while we track our life and life’s various events – we also tend to notice that there are several people whom we meet – several events that happen are completely new to us and unplanned – at least not planned or expected by us.  Life offers us several surprises and painful events. From a neutral perspective, if we analyze life, we tend to take it through our planned actions. However even though how much ever we analyze and plan – sometimes it takes an altogether different direction or sets us a new path unknown to us and not traveled by the majority. Sometimes we feel end up in an awkward space. How much ever we organize our day-day events, we tend to end up caught in an undefined state. Certain things feel like arbitrary and random.

It could be an acquaintance of a new friend – could be a travel to a new place – a sudden promotion/success at work – an unplanned disaster – a bound of joy and much more. There are several things in life that we feel and receive unexpectedly. A range of emotions are attributed with the random things that we face. Sometimes these unexpected events take us to a new dimension, prove to be a thought provoking one, at times it leaves us distressed. So what is life? Is it a predefined one, something which is already written by God – or is it the effect of our actions? – Else is it completely random? There’s no definitive answer to this. Because it is a mixture of all. And we should be ready for anything that comes over to us at any time.

We often try hard to change our lives – to make life better – to earn more money – to build good relationships. We try to change and rewrite destiny. We often end up taking life seriously. We are completely into it and lost into the circle. The message is to stay away from life and view us from another person’s angle. Sometimes third person’s perception of us – our actions could enrich us with good information. We should take life lightly, view it from other angles to understand it better and move towards our goal. Our actions have to be analyzed from a neutral perspective and this can lead us to sustained growth. Unexpected disasters cannot be avoided, but we can control the aftermath - we can define the alternate path – we can do a quick turnaround and continue progress.

It is therefore necessary to let go of ourselves – pause – think and react in a better way. Doesn’t matter how much ever we structure and organize things, we should let time carry us forward and be ready to face any challenges. Let the random events hit us and we will handle them carefully by proper execution of events. The wind may carry us to a new location and we will enjoy each and every moment of the new and the unknown.
